Looking Back
OK, so White Lion was one of the many Hair Metal bands out there circa late 1980's. Some rockers, some ballads, you know the formula. This one has all of their hits on it. But, I will say that Vito Bratta was one of the most underrated guitarists of that era. His guitar work on the band's version of Golden Earring's Radar Love rocks. As a member of the Class of 1987, the Hair Metal era was in all of it's glory. At least the guys in White Lion possessed talent. I can't say the same for some others like Weener...I mean Winger.

Of all the glam/pop-metal bands that crawled out of hair salons coast to coast during the mid- to late '80s, one of the more talented acts was New York's White Lion, led by singer Mike Tramp (originally from Denmark) and guitarist Vito Bratta.
