Heaven on Earth
I have experienced Gregorian Chant for a long time. But, this album particularly is sublime, peaceful, relaxing, great for meditations 5 stars for these monks. I truly feel the hand of God in these works!
Wonderful Gregorian chant album
I'm not sure where the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Maurice is, and I'll just assume that it's somewhere in France (or French-speaking Europe). Regardless, I searched for quite some time through iTunes until I decided that *this* was the best choice among all the Gregorian chant albums. The recording quality is top-notch. Bright, crisp, clear music. Not muddy, not muted. The voices... well, it's obvious that these monks have received some very solid voice-training lessons! Soothing music, and perfectly suited for studying, meditation, meditative prayer, or just something to relax to.
PErfect for studying, relaxing, sleeping.
