A Rare Find
It seems like most new albums released today have maybe a few compelling tracks at most, swimming in a tub of "filler." Mike Murray's Groove Tones breaks the mold with class and quality throughout. We've already featured 4 songs on our "SoundTraxx" show, with more to come .. this is a CD full of strong material, and easy to fit into just about any set, whether with emphasis on lounge, electronic, or smooth jazz. Those who appreciate the good stuff will agree that Groove Tones is a rare find ..

Mike Murray has a way with cool… GROOVE TONES is a chilled out fusion project that feels great in the mix. Relaxed, vibey, smooth… GROOVE TONES offers up musical sway and play that transports the listener to a vacation-like state that might suggest a private beach, loose clothing and miles of palm-dotted shoreline. If you’re into classic Smooth Jazz like Hiroshima, Fourplay and George Duke, you’re gonna love this!
