Good stuff, but....
Some great guitar riffs can be found here, but the sound quality is like listening to a AM transistor radio on the beach. I figure they were going for an authentic recording sound just like out of the early 60's, but I'm getting a headache from all the treble. Was this from 1993?
Re-master it again
Remastered inside a tomato can. Potentially decent surf music is rendered distorted by poor sound quality. If you're into that type of thing, this music is for you. Eddie deserves better. Buy a Los Straitjackets cd for the great stuff.
time travel exists, Eddie went back in time to make this album
Love this album, I had it years ago but lost it. I'm excited to have it again. Great tunes for Halloween and cruising around in yer rat rod. Yeah, the sound quality is crappy, but if it wasn't, the music wouldn't sound the same or have the same feel. When Los Straitjackets play the kind of music recorded in big studios, they get it right, and when they play 50's and 60's garage rock, they get that sound right too, just like Eddie has done here. Amazing!
