Nice EP
I'm a hardcore fan, so there were only two tracks here I hadn't listened to before, but that just means I'm a nerd. For those looking to get familiar with the band, this is a good sampling as well. Their lead single in the UK was Last Man Standing, and is featured here as a radio edit. Great song. They also included two b-sides (collectors be aware), including the hard-hitting "Baked", which was probably a bit to spacey for the album, but on it's own is worth a dollar. The EP also features a remix of I Wish You'd Fall Apart from their current album, both mixes do the song justice. And finally, it closes with a shockingly different acoustic version of Pretty Buildings. If you haven't done it yet, buy what ever music of theirs you can afford, and see their live show. The band offers true renditions of these songs on the stage, and all the guys in the band will take a second or two to chat. Once they catch a friggin break, they'll destroy radio. I hope.
Great
This is a great EP coming from a band that is really developing a great sound and surely making a name for themselves. Been following them for a while now and I love everything they're doing.
People in Planes are amazing!!!
I have been a fan for a few years now, and I saw them live a couple of weeks ago in a very small venue. They honestly blew my mind, they were actually better live than any of their recordings (the test of true artists). Some fresh material was well worth the wait because I am absolutely addicted to this band!
