life saving riddims

I was lost at sea for months and i played the first single "Hold The Line " in my ipod to keep me safe from hypothermina and the man eating sharks circling me -not only did it keep me alive but the subharmonic frequencies were picked up by a radio operator on a norwegian tune trawler who subsequently rescued me

Amazing!

I picked up this album and was immediately asked by an elder man if i wanted his child. I gladly would have taken him, but I had nothing in exchange. "I'm sorry, I have nothing to trade!" "That's alright good lad, what item is that in your hand?" he asked. "It's the Major Lazer LP," I replied. He snatched the disc from my hand and placed the child in my arms. I yelled as he ran away, "OLD MAN!!! OLD MAN, WAIIT!!" I wanted to thank him for being old. 14 years later today, the child and I still have our second copy of the album and listen to it every day. BOH-BOH-BOH!

Major Lazer: An Excellent Debut Album

Individually each song in this amazing LP is hard to fault, but as an album it lacks in a coherence or concept that would really pair well with the conceptual artist whose presence on the album's actual songs is unfortunately minimal save for the occasional shout of "MAJOR LAZER." Of course this artist isn't real, however wouldn't it be nice if he was and if this album told a story instead of simply demonstrating that Diplo and Switch can make amazing music, dancehall or whatever they put their finger on. I've read a lot of negative reviews of Major Lazer and I feel that they don't really get Major Lazer. This is a joke, but at the same time it very much is NOT. This is reggae, raw, and amazingly produced. I want more, to put it bluntly. Favorite tracks are Hold The Line, When You Hear the Bassline, Anything Goes, Cash Flow, What U Like, Pon De Floor and of course, Baby.
