a worthy effort
As stated before, the less she wares the better her playing. You can guess this was one of her better albums. There are times when her Interpretation borders on camp but you can't deny that she plays with feeling. The mic placement does capture her every breath which can be distracting and the only real time she slips up is in the Waxman piece. Few get it right but if you have the guts to open your album with it you'd better nail all the notes. Still it was a decent album.
Simply amazing
She wears her heart on her strings. This comes from a guy that likes classical, but never, until now, caries it on my iPhone. Now I have about 6-7 artist on my phone that I listen to inscessantly (sp?). Thanks Lara, keep it coming!
