Album Review

Harlem Blues sounds exactly like how Satan & Adam would sound playing on a street corner — it's raw and tough, with a surprisingly adventurous streak. Satan and Adam stick to a basic acoustic blues duo, but their rhythms and techniques occasionally stray into funkier, jazzier territory. And that sense of careening unpredictability is what makes Harlem Blues so entertaining — they might be playing blues in a traditional style, but the end result is anything but traditional.

Blues, the way it's supposed to be

this album is simply great, if you are a fan of the blues there is only one thing to do-BUY IT. also go check out Adam's channel on YouTube.

Just great Blues.....

Just some great, raw, streetcorner blues. Adam is on youtube with some gret harp lessons.

New York Blues Done Right

This is a New York Blues album you "feel" while listening to it. Mr. Satan talks to YOU and holds a conversation with YOU with his words and riffs while Adam's harp playing seduces you with his rolling/rocking/wailing licks. You can almost feel the rumble of the subway when you listen to this album. This is also a truly great blues SOUL record, in the spirit of Muddy Waters or early Taj Majah, and is a must for anyone who is able to be, and who wants to be, touched by music.
