Harp 46
This is a very relaxing presentation of several arrangements for the harp. The songs are played at a tempo that would complement a reception or cocktail, being instrumental, and not interfere with low level conversation - very nice! The selection of song titles is very interesting and suggestive of the musical arrangements being played. The mix of supporting instruments provides an enjoyable listening experience which allows the listener to be lost in other activity while enjoying the richness of the harp tones. If stringed instruments are a favorite, this album is one to be enjoyed. I am not a musician or involved in the music world in any way. My rating is based upon simple enjoyment of the musical renditions and the mild, non-urgent melodies.
Use to Detoxify your Day
The music is ethereal. It has a refined sound. It is light on the consciousness. It think it could be used with meditation/prayer, to cool down after a work out or a bad day. It should be played when you need to aurally detox from the din of the day. The music tickles a soft inner side and can easily be a soundtrack for the creative part of your mind. I recommend this CD for massage therapist, waiting rooms, gyms, and places where you need peace. For me, this music will be playing either in my studio as I paint or on my deck when I have a glass of merlot with a fine cigar the next time.
