Very laid back, but it's all Late Night Alumni
It's a shame that Late Night Alumni is pinned under the electronic genre on iTunes and other music stores. Certainly, the songs have an electronic vibe at times, but this music on a whole is really organic and beautiful; the fact that it is labeled electronic belies this group's unique qualities.
Haunted is LNA's third album, and it is utterly fantastic, as expected. It doesn't quite top Empty Streets, but it certainly bests Of Birds, Bees, Butterflies, Etc... (which was a great album as well). That being said, Haunted is quite different in feel than either of their preceding works, but of the two, it is closer to Empty Streets. Most of the songs have a melancholy note, which is a huge plus in my book; this album oozes emotion and takes you to different places. If you like music with feeling and meaningful lyrics, look no further. Heck, if you like music, look no further.
Do yourself a favor and buy the whole album. You likely won't regret it.
