Many More "Highs" Than "Lows"

I love American Hi-Fi. It would be really hard to top their early stuff. They don't here but this is still a class A album. "Hell Yeah!" has a really fantastic chorus. "The Geeks Get The Girls" is very catchy hit and addictive. "We Can't Be Friends" is one of the best songs on the CD and is easy to love. Great beat in that song. "Seperation Anxiety" is a rockin' song American Hi-Fi perfected to the beyond maximum. "Where Did We Go Wrong" is a sweet cool song that is another key track. I liked it. This was one of the few CDs I got the day it came out. Especially for actually going to the local store to buy it. It was worth it. Check 'em out. Hearts On Parade gets a fairly sweet 9.1 out of 10.

Hell Yeah!!!!

Omg I love this album soooo much!!!! American Hi-Fi is one of my favorite bands ever!!!! They're sooo good... espicalls this album, as soon as I knew about it.. which was a long time ago, I had to buy it!!! They totally deserve 5 stars... my favorite songs on here are Maybe Won't Do, Hell Yeah!, The Geeks Get the Girls, and We Can't Be Friends!!! Wow they rock!!!

not as good as their debut

most of the time, i like a band's second album better than their first, but here that's not the case. there are definitely some good tracks on here, but a few sound very similar to one another and get boring. i look forward to more of American Hi-Fi's stuff in the future, but right now i think ill just get the songs i like and listen to their first album some more.

Drummer Stacy Jones already had his hand in rock & roll prior to his gig with American Hi-Fi. Having been a part of some of the 1990's biggest alternative acts, Letters to Cleo and Veruca Salt, Jones turned his experience inside out for his own musical project. While working on Nina Gordon's Tonight and the Rest of My Life solo album, Jones looked toward the vibrancy of Cheap Trick and cast the healthy rock sounds of American Hi-Fi. Jones, guitarist Jaime Arentzen, bassist Drew Parsons, and drummer...
