Jesus said that the second greatest command is to love your neighbor as yourself. A lawyer in the crowd asked him, "Who is my neighbor?" Jesus answered with the parable of the good Samaritan, the story of a man who responded to the needs of a stranger in need by nursing him back to health. This song exemplifies the same premise, emploring us all to be like the Samaritan in responding to children in need around the world.
