Customer Reviews
Never been a big Trouble & Bass fan...
but Drop the Lime "Doomsday Device" is quite devastating. my problem with T&B is they don't really represent one sound, and they really don't have their own. it's all really deep and heavy beatz with some well worked hooks, but as a label i think you need more than a bandwagon approach. now they are releasing some of the best dubstep tunes that lean more towards the popular gritty/dirty synth lines, and their house approach is rather big room and anthemic, witha nod to filter house glazed with the fidget house sound. you just have to find what you like in this and what you don't. maybe you will love their whole bag of tricks, but alas...
i am not easily fooled.

I agree with Jamire, as a label you can't just throw everything you've got at the wall and see what sticks. Take Rottun records, they have a real foundation in the hydraulic dubstep sound and they've recruited the best so that it's what they're known for. That's not to say that T&B doesn't have some good songs in here (Kolkata's interesting) but you should make a precision strike in place of a general movement. One of the best examples of this is Generation Bass' Transnational Dubstep.
