I'll be the first to admit that with the release of Hideous & Perfect, I had lost a considerable amount of love for & faith in Angelspit. It was just so blah & lacked any form of definition. Thankfully that's not at all the case with HMNI. This album hooked me from the get-go. It's poppy, sugar sweet, & yet acidic enough to eat flesh. It's perfect. As usual, the songs abound in satires of the people who love living the grind & worshipping paychecks, which is awesome considering how many people these days actually do allow themselves to be defined by their wallets. I couldn't be happier with this record. Just when I thought Angelspit was a one-trick-pony, they blew me clean out of the water.
