Hello Stranger is a good way to start 2011
I have been listening to Nick Flora for years. His live performance is something to be experienced, but my favorite thing about Nick's music is how much care and time is taken into cultivating every album. You can count on two things from a new Nick Flora album: It will be great and somehow better, deeper, more creative and melodic than his last. This is no easy task. I have enjoyed every album over the years and Hello Stranger does no disappointment. As you listen it is anybodies guess what the next track will hold. Tracks like 2, 3, 8 and 11 showcase Nick's ability to see the humor in life, but other tracks beckon us to appreciate those experiences and come out the other end with nothing but love. These tracks make me want to reflect on moments from the past and hope for the future, but most of all they inspire me. They inspire me to create and that is a powerful thing.
