Amazing Film, Amazing Music...
I stumbled onto this film by accident and it was one of the most exhilarating, honest and heartfelt experiences I've had watching a movie in quite some time. I found out later that the music, which is used to great effect in the film, was mostly composed by Hal Hartley, the director of the film. I think the music as a standalone is wonderful, but those who can connect the music with the images and feelings from the film will enjoy it on a whole other level.
Henry Fool...
This is one of those soundtracks that I'm not sure stands by itself all that great, which I mean to say that it is so connected to the movie it might be less entertaining for someone who hasn't seen it, which is why I gave it three stars. Being that it's my favorite movie ever, though, just listening to snippets brings a smile to my face (I had to avoid giving it a subjective five star rating). Buy the movie, then get the sountrack to remind yourself of it inbetween viewings. You'll love it.
