Incredible Emerging Band
Apollo run is a uniquely talented group that defies categorization; their ability to mix 3 or 4 genres in single piece and still sound mind blowingly beautiful never ceases to transfix me. Seeing them in concert is a frankly awesome experience but this could be a close second. It's hard for me to pick a favorite from this album but That's How It Felt and Myography are definitely up there. Keep your eyes on this one!
Great Northeast Band
Apollo Run mixes light harmonies and heavy instrumentals in a way that's reminiscent of Muse, but truely unique in their own right. Not many people can resist toe-tapping or head-bobbing once they start playing. If you get a chance to see them live - take advantage and have a great time! These 3 guys play about 12 instruments between them and many groups with more members can't stand up to the intensity of their music or their showmanship.
