Album Review
Another repackaging of material from Judas Priest's first two albums, originally done for the Gull label, Hero, Hero contains all of Rocka Rolla, most of the tracks from Sad Wings of Destiny, and the Joan Baez cover "Diamonds and Rust," which appeared on Sin After Sin. It's decent, but it's also better to hear this material in its original context, especially given the erratic nature of Rocka Rolla, Rovi
Customer Reviews
Don't buy this album, for the sake of the band!
Priest is amazing, and so is its music. You can't deny the fact that this compilation has good songs on it, but it's just a record company re-release, made to rip off of what is Judas Priest. They're just trying to cash in on the Metal Gods' good name, which is wrong! Therefore, DON'T GET IT!!!
A Priest Classic
This is on of the best Judas Priest albums ever. The lyrics and guitar solos on this album are of a time when Priest really got into their music and put a lot of thought and soul into it. A true must for Priest fans. As far as the record companies cashing in in this album, that applies to all albums and it doesn't matter if you get it from Hero Hero or some other album Judas Priest gets their royalties. And if you want to get technical, every time you spend a buck it goes to the man... unless you give it to charity.
This is another great Judas Priest Album
This is an album that a Judas Priest fan should buy for sure. It gives you all the songs that are in the Rocka Rolla alubm plus outher great songs for the same price.
