No Doubt's most adventurous outing yet, Rock Steady found the group stretching boundaries in every direction while inviting its huge mainstream audience along. The album not only proved a huge success on its own, but also opened the door for singer Gwen Stefani's continued genre investigations on the solo debut Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Its excursions into current reggae genres and various shades of hip-hop and funk are convincing, even marking more straight-ahead pop tracks such as "Underneath It All." Stefani and her co-creators, which include producers as far afield as Prince, Nellee Hooper and Cars mastermind Ric Ocasek, are in command on a record that stands as a mainstream triumph. This deluxe edition contains acoustic versions of "Underneath" and "Just a Girl."

Great Performers.
by Shellymelly101I saw these guys in concert w/ Paramore and believe it, the show was spectacular. Gwen just related to the crowd so beautifully and made it like she was singing to everyone personally. The band has amazing charm and work very well together. A must see/have (:!
