For those impossible long distance relationships

First of all let me start by saying, I am not one of those mushy love song lovers. I cringe at those annoyingly catchy lovey dovey phrases in songs that mysteriously put tears in those gooey hearted people. However I am going to make an exception to this song. "Hey there Delilah" captures the very heart of those incredibly impossible long-distance relationships. I'm not sure if "Delilah" is inspired by a real girl, but if I was her, you better believe this song would have made me drive that thousand miles to get to him.

When Plain White T's came here in December, I hadn't heard much of anything by them except for their single, Hate (I Really Don't Like You). Tim got up on stage, and started to sing Revenge and I really liked it, so I got closer, and a couple songs later, I was in loooooove with the Plain White T's. Then he took out an acoustic guitar by himself and sang Hey There Delilah and even though I'd never heard it before, I started to sing along and he dedicated the song to "All the girls in Florida, because florida has some pretty fine girls, and to the guys lucky enough to have them". I sang along with the best of the fans and become a die hard PWT fan myself. Im soooo glad this is their second single and anyone who doesnt buy this single is crazy.

This song brings tears to my eyes everytime. Call me stupid but I know the feeling these vibes. But It Truely hurts deep inside and if you're missing that special someone this is the song to listen to.
