Beautifully written, totally ace release from Chris Trapper!
Chris Trapper is like your best friend's older brother, quietly brooding in his bedroom with a guitar & a notebook full of lyrics. You know, the one you had a crush on since the 4th grade, the one that made you wish you were a Boston Girl? Well, his songs will still make you swoon. "Hey You" is easily Chris Trapper's most accessible release. His pop sensibility shines on most tracks, especially Better Half, Feelings Without Weight, and Yearning To Be Burning. However, its the songs that display Chris' trademark simple, yet honest storytelling that truly make this album. Try listening to In From the Outside, 35th Birthday, or Lonely Valentine, without a empathetic sigh and a smile. Cheers to a wonderful release! I can't wait to hear these songs live!

Chris Tapper has talent! While I was listening to some Slightly Stoopid on Pandora, Chris's Yearning to be Burning came up and now he's all i've been listening to! He has the voice of a god and melodies that just make you feel happy. I can't say that i haven't gotten up to dance and sing along with some of these songs. Great lyrics. Great sound. Great artist.

Buy this album! This is Chris Trapper at his best. Much of this album has the nice familiar Pushstars sound with a nice clean down to Earth feel. This album is like a fine wine; it has various flavors and tones which all blend beautifully together.
