This album is a must have for your collection. It features some talented artists that didn't get all their props. Great to have it available through Itunes! Some of Hip Hop Reggae aka Regga at it's best
I love this era in urban music. Hip hop is at it's prime so was reggae music. Their was this fusion since the late 80's of hip hop and reggae going on. Which got to be called ragga. At this time dancehall has so many stars shining then leading them was Shabba Ranks, Shine head, Buju Banton, Bounty Killer, Shaggy, Terror fabulous, Beenieman, Cutty Ranks, Spagga benz, Born Jamericans and many more. This fusion of reggae work so well. Cause after all part of hip hop roots came from reggae. I love the oringal remix beats that use. Bobby Konders help this movement alot. But in the late 90's this art of original beats for remixes started to die. Even on this CD their are a couple of songs that jack beats from hip hop hits. But all and all. I still love this cd cause it capture a time in music where artists and producers wheren't afraid of pushin the evelope.
