Whoa
DO NOT BUY THIS ALBUM UNLESS YOU HAVE GREAT MEDICAL COVERAGE... BECAUSE THIS ALBUM IS SIIIICCK with SOMETHING that'll get that neck and body breakin and movin man. HOW CAN THE BODY BE EFFECTIVE IF EVERYBODY IS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF BANGIN HOLY HIP HOP LIKE THIS!?!? REALLY guys. The Bible talks about stumblin blocks to people.. but CM set up a booby trap with this one. I can only imagine how many innocent unsuspecting Christians are laid out in a hospital bed because they couldn't stop nodding... ever... seriously.. track.. after track.. after track. I just got out of the hospital myself.. and i go to a church where there are plenty of youth. After this album dropped, they were MIA for about a week. WHY, you ask? well.. ask the doctors and nurses that were pumping em full of valium. In other words.... DONT get it twisted.. this album will burn a hole thru your stereo.. the CD should come with a radioactive sticker and a lead case. The only thing hotter.. is the son.. thats S-O-N.. the thing at the center of our universe has NOTHING on this CD. B.Tate
CM's Last Album :(
I'm sorry that this will be the last review that I give to CM as a group. They are one of the greatest groups to ever touch the mic and represent God. Cop this album if you are serious about Holy Hip Hop and support these guys ministry. I've been waiting for this cd for a long time, and I'm so glad that it is here, and they have not disappointed. I hope CM will drop another album together.....
Less gentle, less refined
Louder, harder, more thumpin', less melodic, less musical intricacy, less refined craft than previous work (I suggest "Holy Culture" and "Higher Definition.") Slight decline in lyrical quality, though still admirable: darker lyrics, a bit less maturity (more talk of self than before). I know CM for their excellent, skillful blend of poetry and melody. This is less gentle than I prefer.
