Awesome CD...a must have!
I bought this CD after hearing Pura Fe' live, and Its been in my CD player ever since. I love every song on this CD. Her ethereal voice on the opening and closing Native American track is beyond comparison to anything I've ever heard. She puts a unique and upbeat twist on 'Summertime'. Sorry Janis, but I like her version better! Pura fe is an awesome singer and slide guitar player and you won't be disappointed in any song on here. But if you buy one (no two) songs from the album, I would suggest the beautiful "Let Heaven Snow," which flows like a fine wine...and the epic title track "Hold The Rain," which for some reason was broken into two parts here. But, its hard to choose a favorite from this wonderful artist. So I suggest them all!
