Album Review
With their second album, Firehouse perfected their slick, AOR hard-rock. While their rockers do have loud guitars, they are never threatening; unfortunately, they're rarely catchy, as well. Instead, it's the power ballads that make Hold Your Fire a prime piece of mainstream pop-metal. The group knows how to construct this type of songs, writing sweeping choruses and developing appropriately bombastic production that make Firehouse a worthwhile listen for fans of the genre.

These guys were one of my favs back in the day... and still are. Songs like Reach for the Sky, Sleeping With You , and Get In Touch
metal lives
firehouse's second album "hold your dream" arrived on scene in 1992 when metal was dead and still went gold.had it been released two years earlier it would have gone double platinum.in this album they dont lose a beat with amazing metal tunes like reach for the sky and your too bad.a must for metal fans.
Very Good Cd
i've been a big fan of the whole 80's pop metal scene, so i enjoy listening to firehouse. personally, i think this is a heck of a lot better than their debut. highlights include reach for the sky, rock you tonight, sleeping with you, hold your fire, and life in the real world.
