LIVE MONO!!!

Surely one of the best live bands out there. I only wish my stereo could go as loud as they play live.

MONO and a 24-piece orchestra! Finally an opportunity to relive MONO live!

Best Concert Ever!

This show was the best I've ever attended. The production of the album is great but unfortunately doesn't fully capture how amazing the acoustics were inside the church or the visceral impact of the pressure wave hitting your chest every time Mono reached full volume. Still a must-buy, but also a must-see live!

Japanese experimental group Mono came together in 2000, choosing to forgo vocals and concentrate instead on atmospheric classical-inspired rock music. The foursome, bassist Tamaki (the lone female in the group), drummer Yasunori Takada, and guitarists Takaakira "Taka" Goto and Yoda, released their first full-length record, Under the Pipal Tree, in 2001 on John Zorn's Tzadik label.
