Holy Amazing!!
I was just reading "Psalm 100" when my buddy dropped this cd in my lap. And I told him to "Stay Close" for a sec as I listened to the cd because "When I Consider" the awesomness of this music I really realized that God is "So Good To Me". When I listened to this cd it won't matter where I am because no matter where I am, it will always be "Where I Belong"...knowing that "You (God) Made a Way" to "Be Exalted." After I got done listening I never felt "Closer" to Jesus and I could almost smell "The Fragrance of His Name." and all I could say was God, "You Are My Hope." and oh yeah you are "Holy" too. For everyone out there: This cd was "Made For You."
Quite Possibly the Best CD to Come Out of IHOP to Date
"You Made a Way" clearly represents why Matt Gilman is one of the top vocalists to hit this generation in a long time. Cory Asbury is an interesting duck because he is not afraid to go out of the normal comfort zone for singers. Beyond his smooth lyrics and ability to write songs that actually are worth listening to, he moves out into falsettos and vocal rips that make the songs unique and personal to Cory's personality. This cd is beyond anything that you would get at CCM and truly comes from two guys who simply want to be in the Presence of God. That is worth something if you ask me.
