Great CD

I have been waiting a long time for another John Stevens CD. I love his voice. It is smooth and pleasing to the ear. The arrangements on this CD are great! The big band/jazz sound brings back those Christmas memories. The two new songs, "The Most Special Day of the Year" and "Christmas Waltz" are a great addition to the Christmas season.

I'll be listening all year

Really, this is a great Christmas album. I've always liked John's voice and wrapping it around Big Band Christmas songs is a perfect fit. So much so, like my title says, I'll be listening to this more than just at Christmas. It's just a great Big Band album period. Highly recommended for anybody who appreciates the genre, and for anybody who just wants to kick back and enjoy the Christmas season.

Christmas Big Band Style

What a great CD. I personally have the CD and it is a CD you can put on and listen to without a song you want to skip. Great for Christmas parties. John's voice is that throw back voice from an era we know and love. The big band/jazz genre is well represented with this collection of rearranged songs of Christmas past. The two new songs, "The Most Special Day of the Year" and "Christmas Eve Sweetheart", are both very good and will become Holiday classics.
