Incredible Album for a Great Cause!
I was extremely excited to see "Home for the Holidays: A Minnesota Christmas" is back with Volume 2 and even more excited after I got to hear these tracks... While I was a huge fan of Volume 1, I'm even more impressed with the quality of songs and artists picked for this year's compilation. I especially liked "The Magic of Christmas Eve" (Track 13) by Phil Thompson - awesome songwriting with a unique pop-country mix, super catchy tune! I'm also a big fan of T. Mychael Rambo's "Holiday Soul" (Track 1) - the song is fun and upbeat, a great way to start the album and just makes you smile :) I can't forget to make special mention of Patty and Paul Peterson's "Silent America" (Track 15) - such a unique arrangement of Silent Night / America the Beautiful, amazing vocals and a touching finale for this album. From track 1 through 15, each song on this album is unique / extremely well produced and knowing it helps some awesome Minnesota charities makes this album a total winner - help spread the word on this incredible project!
