Kerry did it again!!!!!
Kerry Muzzey writes the kind of music that makes you appreciate life and all it gives us. It is heartbreaking and hopeful all at the same time. Simply beautiful....every note hits exactly when you want it to. This is why music exists, to make us FEEL!!!!! Everything else is secondary as far as I am concerned. Great job as always Kerry. 8-)
perfect for writing
I'm an aspiring screenwriter & I listen to music like this when I'm writing... it provides a really great cinematic-sounding backdrop without getting in the way. But there's something more special than most about this album & the first "Home Movies." I can't put my finger on it, except to say that I love the mix of heartbreak + optimism that's in some of these pieces. None of them are sad as in "bang you over the head with their severe sadness" -- but they're touching and emotional. So there's some sadness there, but it never exists without some hope right alongside of it. I'd love to know the story behind "The Fat Girl" because it's a heartbreaking piece of music, as is "Nanno" -- although "Every Life Has a Moment" is really uplifting and has some real strength to it. This album gets 5 stars from me: can't stop listening.
Kerry continues to impress
I've been truly impressed with not only the quality of the music that Kerry continues to put out, but also the vast diversity of the sounds and themes. Keep up the great work!
