In my opinion

I loved the movie and the soundtrack is wonderful and heartwarming. I definetly recommend this to Disney fans and others alike. The songs are not only fun, but they put you in a good mood.

Great songs fit a great movie.

I believe that this is probably the most underrated movie soundtrack, each song tells a story worth hearing. My personal favorites are "Little Patch Of Heaven", "Whever The Trail May Lead" and "Yodel-Adel-Eedle-Idle-Oo" definiatly worth the purchas, anyone agree? :D

The music is better than the movie!

The soundtrack of the Disney flop, "Home on the Range", is better than the actual film. iTunes should make the "Album Only" tracks availible individually, so that people don't have to buy the entire soundtrack if they don't want to.

Fun fact: Yodel-Adle-Eedle-Idle-Oo's yodeling (not the singing which was by Randy Quaid himself) was not done by Randy Quaid but by another yodeler. Check out the making of featurette of the movie if you want to see for yourself. Does anyone know who the real yodeler was?
