It's 2011 and if you have not dicovered Gary P Nunn well the good news is you didn't die before you found out about this son of the Lone Star State. His songs are as real as his faded jeans, he has inspired and played with the best of Texas country music. His music is in a unique category, written and sung by artists who love this state, its people and our shared state of mind. If your not from Texas it's a little more difficult to understand what I feel from the words I write, but dont let that hold you back, grit yer teeth and buy this album or any other by Mr Gary. Que up yer play list and grab a cold Lonestar or Shiner beer and be happy knowing there are thousands of people in Texas signing along with you.
