Overly Repetitive House Album Somewhat Works

This album may be overly repetitive, but most of the songs end up working. Here's a track-by-track analysis:

1. DAFTENDIREKT - That voice may be quite annoying, but the beat is cool. (3.9/5)
2. WDPK 83. 7 FM - Transition, folks. Do not worry. (??)
3. REVOLUTION 909 - Pretty good. One of the overly repetitive songs on the album. (4.1/5)
4. DA FUNK - I love this song. It is repetitive though. (4.4/10)
5. PHOENIX - Meh. It's got a cool beat. Just repetitive. (3.5/5)
6. FRESH - This song just isn't fresh. (2.1/5)
7. AROUND THE WORLD - My FAV Daft Punk song! Around the world for sure! (5/5)
8. ROLLIN' & SCRATCHIN' - VERY forgettable song. Too long. (1.9/5)
9. TEACHERS - Strange, very strange. Yet good. (4.4/10)
10. HIGH FIDELITY - I compare this song to High Life on Discovery. I like this one better. (4.0/5)
11. ROCK 'N ROLL - AGH!!! I can't listen to this song! (0.3/5)
12. OH YEAH - Not a fan. (2.5/5)
13. BURNIN' - Kind of annoying. (3/5)
14. INDO SILVER CLUB - Very forgettable. It is good though. (4.0/5)
15. ALIVE - Pretty good. I dig it! (4.5/5)
16. FUNK AD - A Da Funk prelude. Not really a song. (??)

So, therefore:

SONGS TO BUY:
Revolution 909, Da Funk, Around the World, Teachers, High Fidelity, Indo Silver Club, Alive

MEH SONGS:
Daftendirekt, Phoenix, Oh Yeah, Burnin', Funk Ad

SONGS TO STEER CLEAR FROM:

Thanks for your time to read this review. Next week I'll review Alive 2007 by this band.

Wow, Absolutely fantastic.

Great electronic music here, tough to find stuff that holds up to daft punk these days.

The greatest house album to date

Daft Punk revolutionized the house scene with this album... Truly a masterpiece. They broke in into the mainstream music with this album, and it's considered one of the most influential album of all time, and I totally agree. All of the songs here are top notch classics. I love it so much. It's incredible how after so many years, this album is still in the charts and known by so many young people. I'm so happy Daft Punk are back into the charts with all of their previous albums. More people are discovering these legends from the Tron: Legacy Soundtrack that's been just released. Who didn't know them, are now buying DP's albums... They're just to good. Can't wait for their next work on the 4th Studio Album.. Hopefully.

Genre: Dance

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

In similar company with new-school French progressive dance artists such as Motorbass, Air, Cassius, and Dimitri from Paris, Parisian duo Daft Punk quickly rose to acclaim by adapting a love for first-wave acid house and techno to their younger roots in pop, indie rock, and hip-hop. The combined talents of DJs Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, the pair's first projects together included Darling, a voiceless indie cover band; their current recording name derives from a review in U.K....
