Song from Burnout Revenge

To truely appreciate this song, you must play Burnout Revenge. Being one of the only songs available to download from the soundtrack, it's definitely worth the dollar for a 7 minute 51 second version of the original. Racing through streets over 200 mph. with this song in the background makes for a killer combination.

excellent song by itself, doesn't represent the artist's true style

I (like a few others) found this on Burnout 3, and gaming preferences aside, thought the song was amazing. it's a bit of an accquired taste, as you have to be OK with obvious disco/electro influences to understand its charm. the effects applied to the lead vocals are impressive, layered and harmonized very well. a crescendo starting at 4:50 is nice, and my only minor complaint is a slightly out-of-place "schoolyard whistle" sample used throughout. if you like electro, get it, if you like the Bravery, maybe get it, just understand the entire style of the song is not the Bravery's standard. note that the typical instrument set(guitars, drums, etc.) are completely removed from this version, replaced with drum-machine samples and heavy synths; even the vocals are heavily tweaked in some parts. like I said, this doesn't represent the artist's style otherwise, but I liked this song enough to get the full album. I personally like this remix better than the album version.
