Simple, but not awesome.

Being a huge fan of eagles of death metal, I was looking forward to this album since I heard about it. After the first two singles I was hooked. I bought the rest of the album without needing to hear anymore. Unfortunately, the rest of the album is just simply mundane. Same beat and feel the whole way through. the lyrics are strong, but it is just missing that "pop" and catchy-ness that the single complexity has.

Coming from a huge fan of Jesse's, this is a very disappointing effort. Not enough dance rock, too much ballad stuff and slow tunes. And I was drinking when I listened to it, so it should have been fun but it wasn't.
