Awesome band
This band has an awesome message that they bring with them. As for this cd it has great lyrics to go along with some awesome sound. This cd is a 5 star buy!
Wow, finally a new brand of Christian metal!
In the world of Christian metal, a grungy mayhem of short riffs, beating drums, and growling vocals dominates the arena. Very few bands, such as Project 86 and Becoming the Archetype, have broken the mold, until now. Seven System is one of the most musically diverse Christian metal bands to come along. From the opening Shemoneh Esrei of foreign chords and beats, to the rush of Hope Arises, Seven System rocks with haunting vocals, complex rhythms, and guitar riffs that never get old. An album that you'll listen to over and over again, Hope Arises is one of the beacons bringing Christian metal to a level over and above the secular stuff.
a total rock/metal experience
this album is so much better than the previous one. there are better riffs and the lead singer sings with full voice vocals most of the time, which i think is a better use of his voice. in "Reflections" someone is playing a harmonica; whoever does it needs to do it more often. it rocks. the vocalist keeps things clear but the heavy guitars and drums remind you that their still hitting hard.
