iTunes Review
What was that racket coming from the South Side of Chicago in the early '70s? It must have been slashing slide guitarist Hound Dog Taylor and his HouseRockers, one of the noisiest blues acts ever recorded. This debut launched a label (Alligator), and inspired hundreds of blues fans to pick up a guitar and start slidin' away. Crude and unschooled, but instinctive and energetic, Taylor laid this debut album down early in his career, and it went on to become one of the most memorable and important slide guitar outings of all time.
Customer Reviews
Original Sound
Great sound and sick blues guitar. He died too young but was an inspiration for blues guitarists today. He had six fingers on his hand and his original sound on the guitar was sick
Amazing!!!!!!
This is the best electric blues guitar I have ever heard. Stevie Ray ain't got nutin on this and eric clapton wished he was this cool. Rest in Peace Hound Dog!
OOOH That Hound Dog!
