Just Listen!!!!!
Wow, If you like your humor a little on the true side, (served up with a healthy dose of cynicism and insight) this is your man. This album should be required listening for every person in the country that voted for Bush as well. Proops has an uncanny knack for exposing hypocrisy, and wields his strong vocabulary like a razor sharp sword at it relenlessly. Bill Hicks would be proud. -Wayne
No Problem Here!
2008/04/18 - One of my Top Ten Comedy Albums of 2007, although it was originally released in 2004 as "Live in Houston." Perhaps best known as a regular on "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" (both sides of the Atlantic) and the voice of Bob the Builder (in the U.S.), Greg Proops is also an accomplished stand-up comic. Cynicism served with a smile is the order of the day here. Rather than talk down to his audience, the bespectacled Proops delivers his material with an insistence that you keep up with him. Pop culture references (both high and low) abound. Think Dennis Miller, but with less ego. Even potentially played-out topics like gay marriage and Rush Limbaugh get a fresh coat of scathing humor here. My favorite line comes from track 10: "(Jessica Simpson is) so ... stupid, when she walks by a library, the books get angry and burst into flame." Oooh... snap!
This guy is halarious!!
Just listen he is halarious!!!!
