How Could Anyone
Libby Roderick is an undiscovered jewel for most of America. This album appears to be a compilation of "Greatest Hits", with all but 'Bones', being on one of her other three albums each of which is excellent. I'm sorry to not see 'L.C. Smith' on this list. Or 'It's a Human Thing'. Or 'Go'. Libby is a phenomenal songwriter. 'How Could Anyone' is a song we each need to embrace, in our dark moments. Libby is not a one-note ... her songs have depth and breadth, ranging from playful to profound. She addresses so many aspects of our human condition. Who has been deeply in love and not resonated w/ the concept in 'Because You Do'. Hers is music you sing along with in the car or listen to when you have some issue going on. I'm grateful to the person who first turned me on to Libby years ago. I hope she gets the broader audience she deserves .... and I wish she'd write more!!!! This music will appeal to the intelligent crowd and to those who listen to music beyond the mainstream fare.
