This is independent AND a freshman?!?
From top to bottom, this album has it down. If you like smooth melodies and radio-friendly piano-pop-rock, this album is for you. Chorus to chorus, Brandon will have you singing every track. It starts right in with how long, driving every word home with punchy drums and hooky vocals. The first single and title track, How Love Goes, has a bit of a hip-hop pop feel, with a grand piano sound put over a killer groove. One Week (the next single) soars high above on the airwaves, and you are brought back down to earth with the Next track, wait for it. Don't Ignore is actually an acoustic-based song; other jewels include the soft, spiritually sweet Remember Me Too, Lyrically genius Motions, and gospelized pop By the Way. You will be on your toes til the very Last Goodbye!
Wow
This album has real heart and soul in every lyric! You can really feel the emotions and the melodies are great! If you are looking for something laid back but also gets you grooving, then this is the album for you. My favorite track is "By The Way" especially the choir part at the end of the song. Who are those guys and who is the fabulous soloist that really feels the words as well as Brandon?
Good things to come...
These tracks are great, but I can not wait for his upcoming album "Another You". Look out for "Radio", "Over Dreams", and "Right Correction". I have a favorite new artist!
