Finally something new...
Great sound, unbelievable they can pull off these studio tricks live, I don't care HOW MANY laptops you got. These guys have the look of frat boys who woke up halfway thru college and said 'wait, I have musical talent' and then ripped the music business a new one. Hope they get big - cause they deserve it. This is a band you put on mix CD's for friends when you want to expose them to cool new music. You're so much smarter than your friends, aren't you. Go, helicopters, go.
Excellent Eclectic Mix
Helicopters has found a sound that is part pop, rock, electronic, jazz and funk. They explore various genres while keeping simple themes that stick in your head and you can hum all day. I can't wait for their next release to see where the ride goes next.
Great New Band!
I've seen these guys live in Chicago and they are even better than what you hear on the studio disc. Innovative new sound that hasn't been heard anywhere else. They are destined for great things!
