Album Review
Third Eye Blind's eponymous debut is catchier than the average post-grunge album, and that fact alone reveals a lot about the band. Instead of relying on standard, plodding grunge influences, Third Eye Blind draw heavily from the simple hook-laden traditions of classic arena rock, which makes the album more immediate. Unfortunately, this also makes it a little simplistic — the group can craft a naggingly memorable hook, as evidenced by the single "Semi-Charmed Life," but they aren't always able to fashion them into songs. Still, Third Eye Blind is easy on the ears, and its straight-ahead professionalism makes it a pleasurable listen for post-grungers.

by Scrubs FreakThis a great collection of songs by 3eb. And the first review I saw on here forced me to right this review because I want to correct a few things the person said. The songs are not in order of popularity. They start out with all the singles that were realeased (Semi-charmed Life to Crystal Baller) then they put on a few of their favorites form their albums. They are definitely not in the order of popularity or else the first 4 songs would be Jumper, Semi-Charmed Life, How's It Going to Be, and Never Let You Go. They are in order of their albums. And the person also said no new songs. Well they aren't new songs but My Time In Exile and Tattoo of the Sun are not on their other albums, at least not in the U.S. and Slow Motion is kind of new because on Blue it didn't have lyrics because the label didn't think they belonged on the album but now 3eb does what they want since they are on their own label and puts the lyrics on the album and the song is amazing! So technically there are 3 new songs. It really depends on how you look at it. But if you like this whole album, definitely listen to their other albums! All of them are amazing!
