Album Review
Xscape's debut had some intriguing variations that distinguished it from others in the ever-crowded distaff end of the urban contemporary circuit. Their shared leads were more gospel-edged than those of En Vogue or SWV; their first hit, "Just Kickin' It," had a bawdy undercurrent that made it genuinely appealing, and Xscape demonstrated grit and energized harmonizing rather than over-rehearsed polish. But Xscape's most captivating quality, at least on this CD, was their spontaneity, something that can't be faked.

by musiklover4ever"Tonight" was my joint!! This album came out when I was 12.One of my very first tapes of my growing collection. These chicks were the counterpart of the R&B group Jodeci. Keep it hummin comin @ us with another New album that we all can enjoy again.I will cop it fo sho'!!

90's R&B Classic!!!!!!
by $MoneyMaker$Xscape were one of the most talented R&B female groups that came out in the 90's. This album shows all the recognition of how talented they are. My favorite songs on this album are "Just Kickin It", "Understanding", "With You" "Is My Living In Vain", "Love On My Mind", Tonight" and the final track "Just Kickin It (Remix) basically the whole album but this what I consider original and great R&B. The 90's was when music was at it's best and Xscape are one group I include in 90's Best. This album is one I highly recommend so check it out.
