some good guys...

i saw these guys a while back....1st of all. they were as classy and humble as it gets. it's nice when a band actually seems to care about the people at the show. but the music was huge and melodic. "Deep inside" was definitely my favorite. songs don't get much thicker than that one... the music seems to have a clever mix between "far"s thick basslines and soaring guitars and "sunny day real estate"s crisp drumming and melodic vocal lines. can't miss with this album...get it.

ROCK ......pure and simple!!!

Hundred year storm has put together a GREAT sound, full of nice guitar riffs and very melodic chords over some thoughful lyrics that touch the soul. these guys were introduced to me last year at Cornerstone by passing out a free 2 song demo. that demo included 2 of the songs on this EP ...someday you'll see and also pilots last broadcast...BOTH songs are thick and full of emotion. a sound that leaves an imprint on the brain. i urge you to buy this demo, or hold of till august 22, when you can get the WHOLE CD.....Hello from the children of planet Earth... which is sure to be added to my library ASAP.!!!!! not only are the sounds that these texan's put out fantastic and unforgettable, but the artists themselves are humble and genuine. you wont be dissapointed with this...HONEST!!

goodness all around

if "pilot's last broadcast" doesn't make you cry... then all i can say is dot dot dot. this album is moody and expansive, layered thick. sit down, listen with headphones and watch the rain fall. it's perfect for those kind of days.
