Sounds more mature and focused.
I honestly can't wait for the sophomore album from these guys. The first CD was great but definitely all over the map. Based on this new Bob Dylan remake and listening to some of the more chill stuff they have, I think they have really found their sound. Excellent work guys! P.S. This is another f*&%ing great band out of Sacramento. :-)
Good Cover!
I am a big Bob Dylan fan! My father introduced me to this great folk singer at the age of 5. MCR did a great job on this cover. It left the essence of the song intact. It also still gets the message across of the injustices done to Ruben Carter.
Another band profits off a Murderer
If you look at the facts of the case objectivly, it is very hard to come to any conclusion other than that Carter was the killer. It was bad enough that Dylan's song turned public opinion in Carter's favor and resulted in his release, but for Middle Class Rut to be covering it for $1.30 in 2011 is midblowing.
There is a reason that Dylan hasn't played the song live in over 35 years.
