Customer Reviews
He deserves so much more....
A great American songwriter deserves better. I give it two stars simply for the excellent remakes of "Mohammed's Radio" and "Mr. Bad Example." This disc mutilated the epic masterpiece "Mutineer," turned the rockin' "Boom Boom Mancini" acoustic, and ruined the awesome "Splendid Isolation." All in all, download the two mentioned above, but stick with "Enjoy Every Sandwich."
Doesn't Quite Measure Up
Whil most of the song selections here are strong, the covers are less-than-inspired. Listening to this album pretty much just made me long for Zevon's caustic baritone. I'll stick with the originals.
Why. why why why
You the hell are these people? Warren was one of the best American songwriters ever and the best they could get for him was Tom Flannery. Zevon deserves better
