These guys (and gals) have done it again!
What is it about this crew that keeps me wanting more? I am sure a good deal of it has to do with my personal desire to see more "tradition" brought back to mainstream worship. But there is no getting around the fact that these guys bring life to music. Where did they even hear of "Go To Dark Gethsemane"? Great tune! I am also glad to hear some female influence on the vocals. Keep it up Trinity Vineyard!
Not your granddaddy's hymns
The Trinity Vineyard crew has done it again: Taking these hallowed songs and breathing new life into them. While the arrangements, musicianship, and production are all stellar, what really stands out in this album is the passion with which the songs are played. Come Thou Fount is a breathtaking opener, topped only by Go to Dark Gethsemane, the dark horse of the album, which just beggs to be put on repeat
Wonderful
I found this album and their other album while I was in the middle east and it was a blessing to be able to listen to these talented artists everynight out there. You really get the feeling that you are praying and worshipping just by listening and singing along to yourself. I cant recommend this artist enough.
