Rob Thomas' Somthing To Be is really Something!

Rob Thomas, better known as the front man of Matchbox Twenty, has crafted another catchy pop experience for his first solo album. If you like Adult Contemporary or Pop music, this album is very engaging. “This is How a Heart Breaks” starts out the album strong with the 2005 NBA playoffs anthem, and has quite a few other up-tempo memorable songs such as: the smash hit “Lonely No More” and “Something to Be”. My favorite song on the album is the poignant ballad “Ever the Same”. “My My My”, “Street Corner Symphony” (with John Mayer on guitar) and “Now Comes the Night” are also highlights. This album has an undertone of comfort as it parallels some of Thomas' earlier works with Matchbox Twenty but also has a fresh pop vibe that makes it feel new and shiney at the same time. Lonely No More sounds like it was written for Justin Timberlake but Rob Thomas delivers with a trademark style that will continue to dominate top 40 radio as long as he is penning lyrics.

He is really 'Somethig to Be'

When I first listened to his first single, Lonely No More, i fell in love with it right away. The lyrics are amazing, his vioce is amazing... everything is amazing! Everytime i listen to this and make a friend listen to it, they love it! In my opinion no matter what age you are, you will love it. Even my mom and dad walk aroud the house singing "Streetcorner Symphony". I know you will love this CD along with the other millions who do.

<3 LOVVE IT!

Rob Thomas is really wonderful. He was great in Matchbox Twenty, but I knew something was missing. Now he has gone solo and is exceeding my expectations by a million miles. I first downloaded "Lonely No More" (i lovved it!), then "This Is How A Heart Breaks". I loved both of the songs so much. Then I heard EVER THE SAME on the American Music Awards and I checked it out. I TOTALLY LOVVE THIS SONG NOW. ONCE IT GOES ON I STOP EVERYTHING, BLAST IT A TONN AND JUST TUNE OUT INTO THE MUSIC WORLD!!! If you don't wanna buy the whole CD just buy three songs:
Lonely No More
This Is How A Heart Breaks
Ever the Same
