All the exquisite and retrained excellent taste of Daniel Lanois, now fronted by the lusciously soulful voice of Trixie Whitley (be still my beating heart!), and a spare, floating rhythm section of Daryl Johnson and Brian Blades. Transporting music- how could Daniel Lanois become even better? Black Dub is how.

Daniel Lanois brought together two standout musicians in his old friends NOLA bassist Daryl Johnson and the sublime Brian Blade, plus he's found a standout newcomer of a vocalist in beautiful Trixie Whitley. This is really promising - different than anything else out there right now - and the video really seals the deal. Real musicians, real music.
