Tribute To Eurythmics Makes New Music Worth Listening To Again!
Barring Solange, Hot Chip, and a rare few others... I haven't heard any great new music since sometime back in the mid 1990's... LCD Soundsystem thankfully breaks the plastic creations from the likes of Lady Gaga, and rings old new again with this retroesque classic. Music lovers who hear this tune for the first time can very easily see this is a tribute to the likes of "Love Is A Stranger" by Eurythmics...and maybe even a little "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell thrown in... but don't be fooled---Annie Lennox, David Stewart, and Marc Anthony would all be proud as a new generation of hipsters are now entering the scene--saving us from the Lady Gagarbage that is flooding the waters of music and contaminating it. The original version here is a new classic, while the remixes add to it without distraction. Now where is the video?
